IN THE KITCHEN | The Perfect Pear Catering Co is
comprised of the husband and wife team of Michael and
Rachel Deremer. The Deremer’s share a passion for food
and entertaining. Both Michael and Rachel are trained chefs
with a combined industry experience of nearly 20 years.
Michael has held esteemed positions in such upscale,
high volume venues as House of Blues Mandalay Bay in Las
Vegas, Deluxe
Bistro in Denver, Colorado and Marsh Landing Country Club
in Jacksonville, Florida. He was also named Executive Chef
on the
opening team of the Paradox Grille - part of the Discovery
Channel's resort in Gateway, Colorado.
Rachel is an honors graduate of the world renowned
Johnson & Wales University in Denver, Colorado. She holds
an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelors Degree
in Foodservice Management. Rachel has held a number of positions
within the industry including Pastry Chef, Garde Manger
Chef, Dining Room Manager and Catering Manager working in
such respected establishments as The Broadmoore Hotel and
Resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado and the University
of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida.
